![]() ![]() Mind MGMT (incomplete 7/10): Enjoyed my first try of this hidden movement game. I found there to be a lot more interesting decisions than your typical roll and write and would definitely play again, but the reason I didn’t buy is that I don’t think it’s suitable for anyone who’s not an experienced gamer - their eyes are 100% going to glaze over while you’re trying to explain it. However, once we got past the first round everything clicked and flowed very smoothly. This is a really crunchy roll and write / dice drafting game with a ton of actions and ways to get points, so much so that we really had no idea what we were doing the first round of the demo. Here are my impressions of the new games that I tried:ĭinosaur Island Rawr 'n' Write (8/10): Demoed this at the Pandasaurus booth, and my friend that played with me immediately bought a copy and we played again that night. I spent some time walking through the expo hall and caught a Shut Up & Sit Down live podcast, but spent most of my time trying and playing games. I was a little nervous going into it given COVID, but 99.5% of the people I saw were really good about staying masked, and it was definitely a reduced crowd from 2019 so that felt a bit better as well. This was only my second time attending PAX Unplugged after visiting for one day only in 2019, and it was amazing to be back. ![]() r/tabletopgamedesign - Designer's subreddit.r/boardgameexchange - selling/buying/trading games.Game of the Week Calendar Related Sites & Subreddits The simplest use is to bold game names in your comment and add " /u/r2d8 getinfo" at the end of the post, but this post/sub has other features identified.
